Aye Aye Maw, a 37 year-old
single from Yangon. She is the third eldest among her five
siblings. Her 67-year-old father works as a general worker
but her mother had passed away. She completed her High School
education in 1995. To supplement the family's income, she
took on odd jobs such as baby sitter, clinic assistant, factory
worker and domestic helper for a few years before being
selected to work as a domestic helper in Singapore. Currently,
she is working as a part-time kindergarten teacher while waiting
for her application in Singapore to be selected.

household chores, cleaning, washing, ironing and cooking. She
took care of her mother who suffered from stroke and was

loves to take care of young children and is happy to attend to
their daily needs. She loves cooking and can prepare Myanmar dishes

staying in a HDB flat with 2 children, ages 9 and 7.

when her Madam decided to be a stay-at-home mum to
supervise her children studies. Same as her previous

an elderly grandmother. Her main duties are to take care

uniforms and text books are packed and ready for school. She also
fetch the children back and from school and tuition classes.
When the children are away in school, she would clean up
the house, dishing washing and laundering clothes and ironing.
She prepares the family meals and do grocery and marketing during
