Selfa Borjal

Selfa is a Filipino helper with 10 years of experience in Singapore working for European, Filipino, and Chinese households in landed properties, condos, and HDB flats. She has experience in infant care and childcare and cooks Western and Chinese cuisines. Her experience includes household management, car washing, pet care and gardening. 

Sep 2023 to Aug 2026 . For a UKrainian family in 5-bedroom , 2 storey landed house. The household consisted of 2 adults and their then 5y old son. Her main duties included cleaning, cooking, grocery shopping, car washing and gardening while taking care of the older child. Selfa would prepare his breakfast and lunch box, send to school ony as the kid would take the school bus home, play with the boy or bring to the playground or playdates. She cooked Western food like ratatouille, roast chicken, beef steak with mashed potato, green salad , quinoa, fluffy buckwheat, pan fried fish fillet, fish cutlet,  stir fried dishes for the family and looked after the family's African dog. Selfa would walk the dog twice a day or just letting loose in within their garden walls. The is another helper who joined the household to take care of the newborn.  Selfa can transfer anytime after working for them for almost 3 years and a recommendation can be provided.

May 2023 to Sept 2023. For Chinese family from China with a 6y old boy living in a 3-bedroom HDB. Her duties were childcare and general housework like cleaning, laundry, ironing, grocery or going to the market and cooking. She would prepare 3-4 dishes for dinner like stir fry vegetables or egg noodles, soup, braised pork or chicken, fried rice, fried fish with sauce, steamed tofu with egg, buttered garlic with chili, egg with tomato, homemade dumplings with soup and vegetables.  She left due to language problems as the boy cannot speak English.

Jan 2019 to Dec 2022 for a Filipino couple living in a 4-room HDB. Her lady employer had cancer and would accompany her on chemo sessions and assist her, prepare food, and medicines and she also did the general housework and cooking. She went home in Dec 2022 after almost 4yrs of work with the employer.  

June 2017 to Jan 2019, she worked for a Filipino family in 4 room HDB in Singapore. The household had 2 adults and kids then aged 5 and 6. Her main duties were cleaning, cooking, cleaning, laundry, ironing, grocery shopping and childcare. Selfa would send / pick up the kids from school, prepare their meals and snacks, play with the kids etc.  She left because the employer no longer had a job.

Aug 2016 to June 2017 for a French/Filipino family then aged 3y and 5y living in a 3-bedroom condo. The household included 2 adults and 2 children aged 4 and 5. Her duties were childcare, help them get ready for school, send/fetch, play with them, and bring them to the playground, bathing, preparing meals and snacks. Also, household tasks such as cleaning, cooking, laundry, ironing, grocery shopping and marketing. She cooked Western food. She left because the employer relocated to France.
