MASROAH SARTIMAN

FROM YEAR 2002 TO YEAR 2009-  - She was been working with a Chinese family in an apartment type of house. She was looking after 2 children ages from 10 years old and a newlyborn baby when she started working. She does the general household chores, laundry and cooking. She can cook chinese dishes and is able to follow recipe book. She is patient and hardworking. According to her employer recommedation letter" That Masroah Sartiman work for my family from 1998 To 2009. She is a very disciplined and serious worker as well as a very good cook. She can speak and understand English very well. My Family enjoyed her services very much and we still invite her to all our family functions every year.The reason she stopped working for us was because my two sons already grow up. FROM YEAR 2010 TO YEAR 2016 -  She was been working with a Australian employer and she been looking after 7 years old when she started worked with her employer and she been looking after 2 dogs as well and she been working in landed house type of house and she can cook western dishes as well and asian dishes as well able to follow recipe book. Masroah she is independent type of helper.She is well experienced and mature type of helper. According to her employer recommendation letter "  Masroah Sartiman was employed by me from 19th February 2009 until June 2016 ( 7+ years) as a live in helper for our family. Singapore was our final posting after 20 years as expats. Masroah had not previously worked as a helper for an expat family- her previous employers were Singaporean Chinese where she as a foreign domestic worker for 12 years.She was very willing to learn the completely different skills and behaviours required by our culture (we are Australian expats). I would demonstrtate, then check that she understood, monitored that she had mastered the skills and then never have to worry again. She is a quick learner and a very independent worker who can plan, prepare and mange all household skils competently.For example, her experienced with cooking western cuisine was very limited when she started, however within a few months of demonstrating how to cook and present our food preferred cuisine, she was able to plan, shop, cook and present  our foods equally amd sometimes better that my skills. then, as I got busier, she took on meal planning and even going on line to find interesting recipes to prepared for us. We had  food sensitivities and preferences and she was able to accommodate all of there without  reminder. Again,  after some time of clear instructions, Masroah was soon able to fully run our household without any input from myself.I was travelling frequently and working as well as fulfilling a very active social and volunteer of life. I knew I did not have to worry that the house , and my family were being well looked after in my absences, nor did anyone notice the seamless transition  from me as house managed to Masroah as house Manager. After being taught simple book keeping skills, she was given a substantials monthly household budget to manage and account for. It was always kept accurately and frugally on our behalf. Masroah could also arrange and supervise all contract staff that entered the house ,protecting our privacy and possessions. Although initially wary of dogs, she became very bonded to our dogs and could fully care for them when we were not in Singapore .She was able to completely care for them whilst there were recupeting from surgery as well. Her duties included shopping, cooking, cleaning, managing errands, keeping a wonderful balcony garden, managing dry cleaning , the usual household chores independently .She also was very supportive durinf ilnesses and accidents. I would highly recommend Masroah for any position as she is capable of learning new skills, applying herself deligently and then exceedubg expectations".

FROM JANUARY TO JUNE 2017   - She was been working with working with a American employer and she been looking after 2 young children aged; 11 yeaars old and 7 years old when she started worked with employer and she been working in condominium type of house and she can cook  asian dishes as well and western dishes as well. According to her employer recommendation letter " That Masroah Sartiman(or Mas' for short ) has worked for my family since January 2017. The reason she is looking for a new employer is that we are relocating to the US next month. Mas's in our household are extensensive.We have two school-aged children (11 and 7 ) and two working parents . One of our children has some special needs and we require alot of cooking. Mas prepares the children's breakfast and packs a hot lunch for each of them to take to school each day.While they are at school ,she does the grocery shopping and cleaning. In the afternoon,she fetches the youngerboy from school .When they return home ,she prepares dinner and serves the kids before we come home from work.We do not ahave a car ,so Mas relies on the MRT and bus for picking up my son and running errands. Sometimes she needs to go to farther away stores to pick up special foods. Mas is very trustsworthy. We are comfortable giving her cash for the wet market and a supplementary copy of our credit card for purchases at NTUC FairPrice.We check purchase on receiptd and check receipts againts credit card statements. Mas has not once used our credit card for her own purchases.Mas's English abililty is very good. I often have to send special instructions over whatapps (e.g.,change in plans).She is able to understand and follow my intructions. My younger son has food allergies which requires we cook all his food.The rest of the family also eatsat home ,so there is quiite a bit of cooking every day.Her Indonesian cooking is vvery good., but she can also follow recipes. Mas is very good with young children,particularly ages 4-8 .During School holidays she would spend hours playing with my younger son.Doing crafts with him, playing games ,painting ,drawing, etc. She is very resourceful  and can  invent games and craft  toys out of cardboard.She is also very patient with the children. My younger son has some behavioural issues, and Mass  is able to handle his behaviour firmly and calmly". 

FROM THE YEAR 2017 TO YEAR 2022 - She was been working with Swedisg/ British family with 3 growned children. Her duties is involved household chores whom her employer got a huge bungalow house with 6 bedroom with 4 bathrooms and look after 2 big dogs and she does the cooking mostly are Chinese, Indonesian , Malay, western dishes and she does the baking too. She do helped her employer preparing meals if there is guest at home.
