INTRODUCTION

She is dedicated, hardworking, and trustworthy domestic helper with several years of working experience in Singapore and Macau. Throughout her employment, She had worked with Chinese, Korean, Indian-Korean, and multicultural  families, gaining valuable experience in managing different household environments and adapting to various family needs and cultures.

She is experienced in taking care of newborns, infants, toddlers, and school-going children. Her childcare responsibilities has included feeding, bathing, changing diapers, preparing meals, assisting with school routines, sending and fetching children from school, and ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

In addition, she had experience caring for elderly persons, including assisting with mobility, providing support with daily activities, and ensuring their comfort and safety. She is  also skilled in general  household management, including cleaning, washing, ironing, marketing,  and maintaining a neat, organized, and hygienic home.

She can cook a variety of Korean, Chinese, and Asian dishes. Some of the dishes she prepared include kimchi, kimbap, bibimbap, tteokbokki, steamed fish, stir-fried vegetables, fried rice, soups, and  other home-cooked meals. She is willing to learn new recipes and can easily follow cooking instructions according to my employer's preferences.

• Took care of the infant by feeding, bathing, changing diapers, and attending to daily needs
• Assisted with childcare for the older child.
• Sent and fetched the child from school.
• Cooked some Korean dishes such as kimbap, kimchi, bibimbap and tteokbokki.

Reason for Leaving: Finished contract (early release no longer required a helper.)

EMPLOYER 4
Nationality: Indian-Korean Family (Vegetarian)
Period: 11/06/2023 – 02/04/2024

Family Members: 4 Adults, 2 Children (4-year-old twins), 2 Elderly
Type of House: 5-storey landed house with 10 rooms (2 helpers, each with own room)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Shared responsibility for maintaining a large household, including cleaning, washing, and ironing
• Took care of the twin children and assisted with school pick-up and drop-off
• Prepared Korean and Asian dishes for the children, including kimchi, bibimbap, kimbap, steamed fish, fried beef and fried pork.
• Assisted Ah Ma with daily activities, mobility and standing support as she was unable to stand independently and required the use of a walking stick.

Reason for Leaving: Workload  was excessive, with  insufficient rest and food provided.

• Family frequently ordered food online or dined out

Reason for Leaving: Employer relocated back to Korea

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performed general household chores including cleaning, washing, ironing, and marketing.
• Cooked Chinese dishes such as stir fry vegetables, steamed fish, fried rice, ABC soup, and lotus root soup.
• Assisted with childcare and school pick-up and drop-off.

Reason for Leaving: Returned to her home country (Myanmar) as her mother became ill.

• Cooked Chinese dishes such as fried rice, steamed fish, stir-fried vegetables, ABC soup, and lotus root soup.
• Assisted in caring for an elderly stroke patient.

Reason for Leaving: Unable to safely manage the physical demands of transferring and assisting the elderly stroke patient due to his weight.

WORKING EXPERIENCE IN MACAU

Period: 2019 – 2020

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performed general household chores including cleaning, washing, and ironing.
• Provided childcare and assisted with school pick-up and drop-off.
• Employer's mother was responsible for cooking.

Reason for Leaving: Contract ended due to the COVID-19 pandemic
