Details:
For the first 6 months, stayed at Ahma’s daughter’s house. The household  had 2 children (11 & 9 years old, both girls). Responsibilities included childcare, sending and fetching children from school, cooking, marketing  and general   housework.

After 6 months, Ahma moved back to her own HDB flat. The  household then consisted of Ahma (74 years old) only. Duties included accompanying Ahma for daily activities, accompanying her outside, bringing her for doctor and hospital medical check-ups (sometimes with employer,  sometimes alone), and using public transport (bus/MRT).

Language Used: English

Reason for Leaving:
Worked for 21 months. Ahma no longer required a helper.

EMPLOYER 3 (2024)

Nationality: Malay / Filipina
Type of House: HDB (3 rooms, 2 toilets)
Helpers: 1 helper
Family Members: 5 persons

• Childcare (3 children: 6 years old, 5 years old, 1.5 years old)

• Sending children to school

• Assisting pregnant Madam

• Pet care (1 cat)

• Cooking and marketing

Language Used: English and Malay.

Reason for Leaving:
Worked less than 2 months. Workload was heavy, so requested transfer to seek a more suitable employer.

EMPLOYER 2 (2022–2024)

Elderly Care:

• Ahma (88 years old, diabetic)

• Bringing Ahma downstairs for exercise

• Assisting Ahma with toileting

• Cooking

EMPLOYER 1 (2019–2022)

• Ahkong (85 years old)

• Sir (40+ years old)

Job Scope:

• Elderly care

Details:
Ahkong was staying in a nursing home. After completing housework, accompanied Ahma for exercise, visited the nursing home daily to care for Ahkong. Duties included bathing, diaper changing, feeding, giving medicine, dressing and bringing  food and clothes. Returned home around 6 PM daily to continue household chores and cooking. Also accompanied Ah ma for doctor and hospital medical check-ups.
