7 YEARS MALAYSIA-CHINESE- Janette worked in Malaysia for 7 years 2016-2023 as a domestic helper. She took care of three children aged 13, 12, and 9 in a bungalow house.

Her daily routine included preparing the children’s school items, sending and fetching them when required, supervising their routines, and assisting with simple homework. She managed her schedule independently—starting each morning with children’s preparation, followed by cleaning tasks, laundry, ironing, and organizing the home before moving on to meal preparation or school pick-up duties.

In addition to childcare, Janette handled the full scope of household responsibilities, such as cleaning all rooms, managing waste disposal, grocery shopping, restocking supplies, and maintaining a tidy kitchen. She cooked Chinese and Malaysian dishes for the family and followed weekly meal instructions. During family gatherings, she assisted with food preparation, serving, and keeping the house orderly. She worked consistently without supervision, stuck to the employer’s schedule, and completed her tasks in a structured, timely manner.

Reason of leaving: contract finished and she went home to rest for a while. 

Janette is a mother of three children, and she works hard to provide and sustain her family’s needs. Her experience as a parent helps her understand the daily needs and behavior of children, making her confident in handling them. She knows how to manage household routines, prepare children for school, and maintain a stable and organized environment. Janette also enjoys cooking and is able to prepare different dishes based on the family’s preference. She is used to working with schedules and managing tasks on her own. Her commitment to supporting her children motivates her to work consistently and responsibly in any household she serves
