Background

Rizqi 36, married with a 5- and 3-year-old, and the youngest child in the family of 5 siblings. She wants to work in Singapore to support her family and she is from Cirebon, Indonesia.

 

Academic Qualifications

She graduated from high school, equivalent to Spore’s Sec School.

 

Experience

2 years (2011 - 2013) as a helper in Dubai.

She worked in a 3-bedroom house with 2-toilets for a family of 5. Her main duty was to look after 3 kids age 12-, 7- and 5-years-old. She does general housework and cooking.

5 months (2015 - 2015) as a helper in Hongkong.

She worked in a 2-bedroom house with a toilet for a family of 4. Her main duty was to look after 2 kids. She does general housework and cooking as well.

 

Cooking

She cooks Indonesian dishes, keen to learn to Chinese and various other dishes as well.

 

Childcare

She is keen to look after children/ infants, and she looks after her own. In her previous experience, she prepared their meals, bathed and changed them with fresh clothing, dressed and get them ready for school, administered their vitamins and medications, attended to and assisted in their needs.

 

Elderly care

She is keen to look after elderly.

 

Handphone

She will follow the employer's instruction regarding handphone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own handphone after work hour.

Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper, this will be stated in the Job Offer.

 

Off-day

The helper is entitled to weekly off-day or at least 1 off-day per month and the other 3 working off-days, she will be compensated accordingly.

Any other off-day arrangement is between employer and helper, this will be stated in the Job Offer.

 

2 years contract

She is aware of the 2 years contract.

 

Recommendation

In summary, Rizqi is experience and ready to take on new challenge. Being a first timer in Singapore, it may not be easy for her to understand employer’s needs, however, we believe with enough time, proper guidance and training, she will be a good help in your family.
